Author Rights and Copyright Ownership
The Brazilian Journal of Case Reports (BJCR) (ISSN 2763-583X) is an open-access journal committed to the ethical and transparent dissemination of scientific knowledge. The journal follows internationally recognized copyright and licensing standards to ensure that published content is freely accessible while protecting authors' rights. All published content is freely available without embargo or registration requirements. Articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), allowing users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, and use them for any lawful purpose, provided proper attribution is given.
Key Author Rights
- Authors retain copyright of their manuscripts and grant BJCR a non-exclusive right to publish the article under a CC BY 4.0 license. No copyright is transferred to the journal. This ensures compliance with international open-access standards, including DOAJ requirements.
