Trauma por arma de fogo com lesão de artéria axilar: relato de caso

Abstract

A lesão das artérias subclávia e axilar é incomum. A abordagem cirúrgica de emergência requer ampla exposição e dissecção em áreas traumatizadas, sendo muitas vezes desafiadora e estando associada a morbidade significativa e mortalidade de aproximadamente 30%. Relatamos um caso de trauma penetrante em topografia axilar com o tratamento cirúrgico de sucesso.
